Description:

Our client, with revenues of $2.5 billion last year, is one of the world's fastest growing semiconductor companies who sell their products to the industrial, communications, consumer, & computing markets around the globe. We are currently in search for a full-time Senior Product Marketing Engineer to join our excellent company in the San Jose area!

What you will be doing.

  • Product line ownership
  • Interface with manufacturing, engineering & sales to develop new products and to ensure smooth introductions
  • Manage product offerings through full product life cycle
  • Conduct competitive analysis to determine product positioning, channel mix, segmentation, pricing, volume, product service/support strategy & identify customer needs
  • Candidate will carry out product planning responsibilities: analyzing/understanding market trends & opportunities, customer business issues & solution requirements within a targeted market segment to develop need assessments and propose business and solutions strategies

What you need to work here.

  • BSEE / BSCS / MBA
  • 5+ years marketing / product management
  • Strong semiconductor industry experience
  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of interconnect technologies (SATA, SAS, PCIe, IB, and Ethernet)
  • Strong understanding of data center, cloud markets, and equipment is desirable
